Suranjith Swaris

Chief Operating Officer
With over three decades of diversified corporate and academic experience, Suranjith Swaris is a transformative business leader and accomplished marketing professional. His career spans multiple industries including manufacturing, apparel, engineering solutions, technology, real estate, footwear, training, and business consulting, where he has successfully progressed through roles in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Operations, and Strategic Leadership up to Consultant and Board-level positions. 

Academically, he holds an MBA from Buckinghamshire New University, UK, Postgraduate Diplomas in Marketing and Project Management, and professional qualifications including Certified Professional Marketer (Asia) and CMA (Australia). He is currently reading for a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). 

Beyond corporate leadership, Suranjith actively contributes to national development through mentoring, consulting, and academic engagement. He serves as a Visiting Lecturer for MBA and BBA programs at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) and the Faculty of Architecture at University of Moratuwa. He has also represented numerous national-level judging and evaluation panels including SLIM, EDB, FCCISL, IDB, and National Industry Awards, contributing his expertise to entrepreneurship, branding, exports, and industrial excellence initiatives.

Chief Financial Officer
Ranjica Mendis is a senior finance and operations leader with over 28 years of experience, including more than two decades in strategic leadership roles across multinational and diversified business environments.

She brings deep expertise in financial management, performance optimization, and governance, with a strong track record of aligning financial strategy with business growth. Her experience spans financial planning, KPI-driven performance management, treasury and cash flow oversight, internal controls, and enterprise-wide process improvement.

Ranjica has led finance and operational functions across apparel manufacturing, consultancy, ICT, and FMCG sectors, working closely with boards and senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making, cost efficiency, and sustainable profitability.

She is known for building high-performing teams, strengthening compliance frameworks, and implementing robust financial systems that enhance transparency and operational discipline.

A member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA UK) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM UK), she combines strong financial acumen with strategic business insight.

Eng. Thusith C. Gunawarnasuriya

Thusith C. Gunawarnasuriya is the Chief Executive Officer of Siam City Cement (Lanka) Ltd, providing strategic leadership and overall direction to drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and organizational performance. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of the company and previously as the Chief Executive Officer of Lanwa Cement, where he led significant transformational initiatives within the cement industry. With a diverse career spanning multinational and local enterprises, Thusith has held key operational positions in Lion Brewery (Ceylon) PLC, Hemas Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd, Fonterra Brands Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, GlaxoSmithKline, Holcim (Lanka) Ltd, and MAS Active, both in Sri Lanka and overseas. His extensive experience has made him a recognized contributor to business strategy, operations, and supply chain knowledge forums locally and internationally.

Academically, Thusith holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colombo, and a Master of Science in Business and Organizational Psychology from Coventry University, UK. He has also completed Executive Leadership Development programs at IMD (Switzerland) and the National University of Singapore..

His professional affiliations include memberships in IEEE (US), CILT (UK) as a Chartered Member, ISMM (SL), and IESL (SL). Additionally, he has earned the prestigious Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) title, having served as a past Area Governor and past President of the IESL Toastmasters Club, leading the club to win the Golden Gavel. Beyond his corporate and leadership endeavors, Thusith has a deep passion for off-road driving and wildlife photography, as well as an interest in farming.

Charith Gunasekara is a distinguished technology and enterprise solutions leader with nearly two decades of hands-on experience spanning ERP strategy, SAP architecture, and digital transformation across multiple industries and geographies. He currently serves as a senior technology professional at Inextricable Group Tech, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge accumulated across Sri Lanka, South Asia, the EMEA region, and North America.

Over his 19-year career, Charith has held senior leadership roles at several prominent organisations. He served as Vice President – SAP ERP Solutions at Lion Breweries, Senior Manager – ERP Applications at Teejay Lanka PLC, and Enterprise/Solution Architect at Michelin Sri Lanka. Earlier roles include Senior Consultant – SAP Supply Chain at Camso Global Business Services and Head of ERP at CBL Management Services, reflecting a consistent trajectory of growing leadership and technical depth.

His industry exposure is exceptionally broad, encompassing apparel, steel, plastics and rubber, food and beverage, FMCG, alcoholic beverages, printing, and management services; making him a versatile advisor capable of addressing complex operational and technology challenges across diverse sectors..

Charith holds dual SAP Certified Professional credentials in Manufacturing and Source-to-Pay (S/4HANA), issued by SAP AG, Germany. He is also an Accredited TPM Facilitator and Asian Medal Owner from the Japanese Institute of Plant Maintenance, and a CIMA Passed Finalist (UK) — a combination that reflects both his technical rigor and his strong grounding in business finance and operations.
